	I have been working in place of Red's Alternative Energy. Red's renewed interest in self-sufficent power applications died out after Y2K didn't cause the projected calamities. I have been unsatisfied with the wind turbines I have used personally, sold, or seen in operation. The reasoning is they are not built strong enough for the large amounts of wind availible in the NW Iowa region. I am currently testing out Southwest WindPower's Air-X model. After only a month and a half of use, this unit is down because the yaw shaft snap ring became dislodged and the unit shifted on the yaw shaft causing a short placeing the unit in it electric brake mode. I have been very happy with the efficent opperation, in addition to the manufacturing process of Evergreen Solar photovoltaic cells. I am currently making frames for (5)115W panels to be used with a BlueSky MPPT Charge regulator.
